IBASE Technology, the leading maker of Intel® Pentium® 4 processor-based single board computers in Taiwan, today released a high performance, cost-effective single board computer solution. The IB790 is a Intel® Pentium® III processor-based 5.25-inch disk-size board based on the VIA ProSavage PN133T (TwisterT) chipset. It is designed with 133MHz Front Side Bus to support Socket 370 compatible processors with clock speeds of up to 1.26GHz CPU speed. The IB790 embedded board comes with VT8606 Integrated Savage4 AGP4X graphics featuring CRT and LCD panel support while using a frame buffer of up to 32MB. The LCD interface supports 36-bit TTL interface and two-channel LVDS interface. Optionally, IB790 can have TV-out functionality. One DIMM socket on board accommodates up to 512MB of SDRAM DIMM modules.

Standard specification includes two parallel ports, four serial ports, a socket for DiskOnChip flash disks, one or two Ethernets on board, digital I/O and a watchdog timer. Additional expansion is available through a PCI slot and the PC/104 expansion connector.
Overall, the IB790 is specially suitable for POS, kiosks, panel PCs and other embedded applications.
